Extensive remodelling works to New Woodlands School to create facilities for SEMH students.

Client name:  London Borough of Lewisham
Construction Value: £1.2m
Project Type: Education

Savoy Construction was appointed by the London Borough of Lewisham via a single stage tender to undertake extensive remodelling works to New Woodlands School to create facilities for SEMH students.

The project included the design and construction of a food technology block (including FF&E), internal alterations and refurbishment works to the existing school building and extensive external works including new security fencing, soft and hard landscaping and upgrading of the existing MUGA facilities.

Due to the complexity of the site and the works, the alterations and refurbishment works to the existing school building and communal landscaping works were undertaken fast-track during the 6-week summer holiday period. All other works were undertaken utilising strict demarcation or during half-term periods.
