Savoy Construction was appointed by L’Institut Francais du Royaume-Uni in London to refurbish and create a multi-use commercial and leisure facility.
The Institut is well known for its range of French courses, film screenings, library collections, festivals and talks, and the new facilities we remodelled and refurbished provided an additional multi-purpose space that can be hired out for music recitals, art displays and business meetings.
Speed was of the essence. For this fast track development, all works were completed within nine weeks and in an occupied building. Our works included:
- Major internal structural alterations to create one large space
- Renewal of parquet flooring
- Upgrade of toilets to create unisex facilities
- Installation of Flexi Step lift
- Electrical upgrades
- Decorations
