Savoy Construction was appointed by the Royal Borough of Greenwich via a single stage tender to undertake refurbishment works to the “mezzanine” at Birchmere Depot.
Birchmere Depot is an industrial site with mixed use buildings and is used by the client for their day-to-day community support services. The “mezzanine” is a 487m2 first-floor office space.
The refurbishment works involved roof repairs, internal strip-out, installation of new electrical and mechanical installations (inc. air conditioning, alarm systems, CCTV system and access control), new partition walls and glazing screens, suspended ceilings, fire doors, new kitchenette, flooring, decorations, and the supply of new office furniture.
All works were undertaken whilst Birchmere Depot was fully operational by the staff of the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
